are the kids all right?

with the rise of social network you probably have a good idea what the kids you grow up with are up to and it hit me as i watched Napoleon Dynamite's deb (Tina Majorino) getting yelled at by Kevin Costner in Waterworld that i don't know what many of the kids i grow up with on the screen are doing nowadays
and so i started clicking

DantĂ© Basco how played the very cool Rufio in Hook was in the cartoon Avatar - The Legend Of Aang  as the voice of  Prince Zuko. which i watched endless hours of with my university housemate. i'm yet to see the 2010 live action movie where Dev Patel plays Prince Zuko

Ralph Macchio the kid in The Karate Kid played Archie Rodriguez in Ugly Betty this one took by surprise because i can't believe i didn't hear it mentioned in the (largely bad) reviews for the remake

but buy far the most intreating i found out on my click round the web is that Amy O'Neill, Amy Szalinski from Honey, I Shrunk The Kids & Honey, I Blew Up The Kid  is now working as a circus performer

telly box 1:10 O'Clock Live

10 O'Clock Live see the four presenters of channel 4's Alternative Election Nigh (Charlie Brooker, Jimmy Carr, Lauren Laverne and David Mitchell) return with a weekly hourlong show running for 15 weeks. it's good to see a current affairs show which is both grown up and funny unlike the mindless info-vomit of the one show and live from studio five. but i can't help thinking that four presenters into a hour is a tight fit and that the interviews and debate was cut short one of the presenters could fire of a scripted piece to camera. but this is only baste on the first episode so we may see some tweaking over the coming weeks

fabled idiot at the movies: 1 White Zombie

i pick a copy of white zombie at the Waltham Cross branch pound land(but I've chucked the usual amazon link in for you) and now I'm going to treat you to the first fabled idiot at the movies.
white zombie it's 1930's zombies  flick so clearly it not going to be every cup of tea but Bela Lugosi's name on the box is enough to get my attention on top of that this is were the zombie film begin just imagine what the would may be like if it was never made. Romero wouldn't of made Night Of The Living Dead  Rob Zombie (or simply Rob) wouldn't have a name for his band and if i spent my teenage years playing Resident Evil and watching Evil Dead Trilogy how know what kind of sick twisted mad man i would of become.
i can't say this move is much better than average but it's definitely not below it. what stands out most in this film are the stunning visual thanks in no small part to the second hand sets rented from Universal Studios and the acting talent of the two stars Bela Lugosi's how career was just starting and Madge Bellamy how was fading career having started in silent movies and shooting at here lover in 1943 probably didn't help her career much.
this is the sat of film for the start of a nerds night in the one you stick on as you wait for everyone to turn up. it's the canapé of zombie films.

Looking for extra cash

The internet had a lot of potential to make extra cash as well as lot of people telling you you can make 6 figures a year for little or no work. Now being broke I am keen to tap in to some of that potential but not being gullible I know I’m not going to be moving in to a mansion any time soon or infect any time full stop.
My first step to getting money out of the internet is pay per click advertising. This is the most passive way to make money on line but it is clearly a slow burner I have had adsense on my art blog for well over a year and am yet to reach the pay out threshold but I don’t need to do anything on top of what I was doing so I’m happy with slowly slowly catchy monkey

My second step to get my hand on some cash is “O.D.P” on demand printing. on demand printing web site let you upload document to be print as a product such as poster, t-shirt, books and more. Letting you sell products from the web sits without having to worry about stock.
I currently use two of these site redbubble and zazzle  I have had money out of both sits. most site have a pay out threshold but zazzle let you request your earnings any time.

My third step is paid surveys. This so far has been the most profitable I get links to surveys from two site (mysurvey and valued opinions) with mysurvey you get points for completing surveys (around 50-80 points per survey)  which you can extra for cash payed through paypal. valued opinions pays 50p-£1 per survey and pay out with a £10 voucher sent by post (you can pick the retailer the voucher is for inducing tesco and amazon)
survey can be infrequent sometimes but not often dose a week go by without getting at lest one and most of the time it more like one or two a day.
My forth step is affiliate link . it was affiliate link that led to me creating this blog and with each post add to this blog the chances of someone clicking on a affiliated link and giving me a cut of the sale increase.
